So Tropical Storm Fay -- well -- fay-ded out. This was my first big storm since moving to Tampa two years ago, so I was a little intrigued by the whole thing. I finally figure out that I'm on the border between flood zone A and B. Important to know, right?
I headed out to St. Pete Beach with friends for most of the day yesterday waiting for Fay and enjoying some tasty beverages. To see the pictures,

Here's how my weekend went...
Saturday:
Went rollerblading in the morning down Bayshore with my girl Kat. We got trapped in a HUGE rainstorm about 1 1/2 miles from my house. We skated through puddles and got splashed by cars and we looked like two wet dogs when we got home. It was SO FUN!!
Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift were awesome. I was really excited to see Taylor. She was SO GOOD!! Skip, Les, Braden and I drove through the parking lot in the US 103.5 Camo Jeep handing out boot scootin' koozies, awesome bottle openers and the new US 103.5 Bucs Country shirts. We took lots of pictures and video, so check the website to see if you made it... One of the things though... In the future, when I'm making a video of you, don't cuss. Okay?? Thanks.
Hit up Chili's after the concert with Rachel, just in time to see Michael Phelps win his eighth. What a stud.
Sunday:
Got up and drove to St. Pete to play tennis with Kat. Good times but hot!
Ended up going on a tour of St. Pete on Segways! Our friend Alan owns Bayside Tours of St. Pete and he gives a fun tour of the parks in the area. It was a blast. Check out their website here.
After the Segways, we hit the pool. Sorry, no pictures of me sporting a bikini, but supposedly that gets webhits, so I'll probably break down and post some soon.

A trend that does NOT need to be repeated...
While researching for the show, I came across something that I NEVER wanted to see again. Could it possibly be... the return of the pegged jean? Katie Holmes has been sporting it lately and if I start seeing it around the streets of Tampa, I'll scream.
I will admit, while crusing the hallways of Casey Junior High in Boulder, CO, I rocked a mad pegged jean. I was 12 years old at the time. Twelve.
Here's the thing. When your ankle is the smallest thing, everything else look bigger! This technique makes your calves, knees, thighs and butt the equivalent the size of the Skyway. Just say no.
